She has been teaching since 1991, is certified Junior Intermediate II, and leads workshops nationally and internationally. She was one of the founding teachers of the Iyengar Yoga Institute of NY, was their first administrator, and served 7 years on the board of directors of Iyengar Yoga Association of Greater NY. Bobbie also served 4 years on the board of directors of the Iyengar Yoga National Association of the US as treasurer. She was the resident yoga teacher for 8 years at Arsha Vidya Gurukulam, a traditional Vedanta ashram in Saylorsburg, PA, and studied at both of Pujya Swami Dayanada Saraswati’s Indian ashrams in Anaikatti and Rishikesh. She is very happy to join the Iyengar yoga community in Denver. Before yoga became her primary life directive, Bobbie was a visual artist in printmaking, theatre design, painting, and performance.
